I'm still down here. I got a call from the Lazy H Ranch down in the Pasco area. They needed an extra Truck Driver for a few weeks, then it's up North to the GreatLand........
hey guys...hope everyone is having a good spring. Its already getting warm over in these dusty parts.
Balad Iraq...it was 105 today. Was supposed to get a ride in a blackhawk yesterday around the area but the weather came in so we couldn't fly.

105, I'll quit complaining about 78 in Fairbanks.

Its still hanging just over 100 on our warm days. On a side note I finally got to ride in the blackhawk...talk about a hell of a ride. I got to sit right in the open door while we went out and circled around some hot spots. Pretty awesome for a lowly intel guy.

Little update. 117 on the clear days, 105 or so when its overcast. Literally feels like you are inside an oven if you walk outside during the day.
