Anyone running spi pistons in there 800? ? I see them all the time on ebay and they seem pretty cheap? I'm doing an 800 mono conversion in my 600 racer and am trying to decide on which pistons to go with. I've done some searching there seems to be quite a bit of info on wiseco's and oem pistons but not so much on spi's. Any info is appreciated! Thanks

Yes, the hyperdrive piston, good looking piston. Seems well built. The regular ones I have not used

I know a few people that have used SPI Pistons and have had good luck with them I am in process of doing a rebuild on a 05 800 and we will be putting SPI's in it. For the price I think they are a good buy.

Used them with great results on my prior '04 700 and now my son's '09 600 Dragon SB.

I have run them in three sleds with great results.
I put a set in my 08 iqr with the 800 cfi topend everything looks good, the only down side is after about 250miles most if the teflon coating is gone on the EX side.

Aren't SPI hyperdryres a single ring? Single rings was one of the main problems with the dragons. Dual ring SPI's are a great piston from what I've heard.
