My pipe is about one and a half years old, and it's coming apart at the welds.

The coating is showing rust.

Any one else having problems with the speedwerx pipes.

Yes

One of the guys in our group had 400ish miles on his broke a couple welds. called them and they said get bent. Great Pipe for making power but they must have made it too light weight.

No, if you were unfortunate enough to have purchesd their previously under-engineered crap, then you're SOL. You're welcome to pay for the band on your own, but if you don't have one they won't warranty your pipe.

Yet another example of a company making a crap product & NOT standing behind their stuff.

I hope it bites Jeremy in the balls.

I have a SLP pipe that I weld up every year. It has a new crack right now. The good part of it is that my pipe welding skills are getting good. I think all aftermarket pipes will crack at some time or another. Straping them or putting
heat wrap on them will affect the performance of the pipe.

my slp came with a hose clap and one band of heat wrap, its mainly for vibration and keep the pipe sensor from going out, its hard to get the hose clamp to stay tight. I used one of the stock straps on the pipe insulation and spring with a single piece of heat wrap and it works great. I have 2500 miles on the pipe with no problems.

My SLP set came with the band and hose clamp installed when I bought it in 07 - no problems thus far with welds or cracking. The hose clamp hasn't loosened either. The ceramic coating is a bit thin - even polishing it doesn't keep the rust away...

The deicers do a number on them, the coating is a little thin but mine still looks decent after this long so I'm not complaining.
