Speedwerx 925 VS. OVS Pump Gas Turbo. 09 M8

Wich kit would be more enjoyable? Mostly used for climbing, boondocking, and ALOT of powder riding. Wich would be more reliable? I would most likely throw in a 20% mix of 110 for each application inless told otherwise by manufacture.
Does anybody have any experience with the 925? I know the Pump Gas turbo is barely coming out but for the few who have ridden them, what are the pros and cons? How hard are either ones to dial in? Clutching, air box mods, etc...

The pump gas turbo will smoke the 925 kit in my opinion for high altitude riding. I would leave the motor 100% stock and install a pump gas turbo. From what I have heard they are very reliable with only 6lbs of boost and the M8 still puts out 210hp at elevation. You get them both up to 10,000ft and the turbo will be putting out a lot more power than the 925 kit. If I had the money which I don't I would go turbo. Talk to Vohk at alpine motorsports about them, he swears by them and so do many others.

Thanks, I'd only run about 5lbs. to still make things interesting! lol
And mainly riding 6,000 to 9,000 ft. Do you think 20% 110 race gas would be neccesary? For a little insurance.

^^
it may make you feel a little better inside, but they test the kits extensivley
and as long as you are running under 6lbs you should be just fine.

You will sleep even better knowing you through a couple gallons of 110 in every tank. Try and remember how crappy gas has gotten over the last 5 years.

I try to go to a gas station that gets a lot of use. Really only way of getting good gas is to get the freshest stuff you can and sine 90% of the people are using 85-87 it's tuff to find fresh 91.
Find a popular Amoco, Exxon and you'll be fine.

Actually, I think you've always been able to run the regular OVS kit on pump gas if you kept the boost down below 7 psi. I think they're just taking away the option to go higher on the new "pump gas" kit with a different boost controller. Basically the same kit otherwise. I want one too!
