Speedwerx 1100t reflash

Is anyone is running the speedwerx 240hp pump gas set up yet? If so what clutch setup is working the best. In your opinion is it safe to run a straight pipe or should I stick with the speedwerx can.

I have been looking at both the Speedwerx and Turbo Dynamic one. I am on the fence. First I actually need Cat to build my sled, but I have been promised a date now...... :face-icon-small-con

Anyway, they both have plusses. The TD has a knock snesor which will retard performance if bad gas, knock or detonation are sensed. I don't see where Speedwerx has it. I need to call an ask.

Speedwerx is cheaper and has a long history of quality products for Cat. I think they have even worked with Cat on some stuff.

TD is a new company and mainly a flatlander Co. Not sure they have the experience to set up a mountain sled at altitude. All the Z1T riders had rave reviews about thier Flashes.

If Speedwerx will retard performance on bad fuel, knock or whatever, then hands down I will go with it.

Decisions, decsions. Intersted to hear how Racin Station makes out. Might be a deciding factor. :)
 
speedwerx can only run 240 hp on 91 and td can run 270 hp + on 91, td just got back from dyno tech also speedwerx does not have boost adjust its exclucive to td.
 
The stock turbo can only make

about 200hp at 9,000' . If you go for 240 you'll have some have some clutching issues between low and high alt. If you set up for 200 you can leave it all alone.

What elevation are your running?

Reflash

I got my Reflash done and this is what I've got. Straight pipe and on 210 pulling 8000 r's. At 8000' telling me octane low. Ran at 240 for a min with same results. I am going to try race tomorrow and see if results are the same.

Found out that bouncing off rev limiter creates a OCTN warning. Thing pulls like a frt train though and simple install
