Speed/tach issues

I bought a 07 m1000 and the speed and rpms were not working. I ended up replacing the gauge, but I still have the same issue. There does not appear to be any moisture in either gauge. It turns on and reads 0 for both mph and rpm's. I even replaced the speed sensor just to see with no luck. Been searching and haven't found any solutions yet.

CCU ??

Could be the chassis control unit, That is controlled by the ccu I think. Do the lights work, reverse, and other gauge functions??

Everything works fine reverse, lights, the gauge seems to be fine. Also the odomoter works and its not flashing any codes either. The rpms and speed just read 0. Is there some known wiring issues I should be looking at?

Check the wiring at the harness area by the ccu and ecu then at the gauge. Use Dielectric grease on all even if they look ok!! Very Important

I finally figured it out. Somehow a previous owner installed the wrong hood harness. After checking all the wires and connections which were good. I looked up a new harness and the harness I currently have is missing two wires and colors don't match up.
