It's stuff like this that gives me more reason to put my gixxer 600 up for sale. I ride safe, fairly responsible but its the morons on their phones, women putting on makeup or people just generally driving with their head up their a$$ that scare me. A friend of mine was killed earlier this year on his bike, really put things into perspective for me. Don't get me wrong, its fun and all but its just not worth it to me anymore. I'll build my truck to go fast, I don't care about the cost of fuel.

You do raise a very good point.

I see it all the time also. drivers that are not paying attention whats behind, or to the side of them. Sure, a vehicle is easier to see, but a bike is not sometimes. Ive seen at least a good handful of times drivers that look once then move into the next lane, only not realizing that there is a bike literally right beside them. Most of the times the biker was not in that persons blind spot. and mostly those people were on there cell phone. ticks me off. and that one reason also thats keeping me back from buying a bike.
