spark plug gap -- 7000rpm cuts out

I just read I need to get a cooler plug for the 300hp evo tune on this sled. All I have access to are the stock plugs. What should I gap them at?

The sled rips to 7000 rpm then starts cutting out. Sometimes if I let out and then immediately get back in it will run up to normal rpm.

The stockers don't like to be tightened up

The fine electrode on the iridium plug doesn't like to be tightened (you risk breaking the tail off). The NGK CR9EB has a lot more meat on them, and can be gapped tighter. On my Big Chute Kit on 100LL setting, my gap is set to .020"

I'd be very surprised if that had stockers in it. The cr9eb's can get fouled and what not starting and moving sleds around. I changed a set a couple weeks ago on my old sled that were relatively new.
