South Fork Colorado

Did a little Fall tour/scouting trip this past week and found myself at the Allington Inn in South Fork. http://www.allingtoninn.com/southfork/.
The place is nice, clean, and probably the closest spot to set up base for sledding Wolf Creek if you are coming from anywhere east of there. I know there are many folks who know this already and have recommended it many times, but I thought I'd give it a shout out while it was fresh in my mind. I'd love to get over there and meet up with some locals for a back country tour sometime.

We are hosting the CSA state convention in South Fork in January. There will be a good variety of group rides led by 'locals'. There will be different rides to suite all skill levels and all different types of riders. There will be scenic trail rides and an advanced ride with me and everything in between. We are working g hard to make the convention fun and start taking a few things in different directions. More involvement and excitement is the goal. I will update info as more is planned. Sorry to jump off topic a bit...
