What is the diff between a supercharged sled vs a turboed sled? Can not afford either just wondering

sled-fiend you also need to check the howstuffworks website because you got it all wrong. The difference lies in how the compress gets its power. A supercharger uses a pully system off the crank of the motor to compress air into your intake. There are centrifigul superchargers and roots type superchargers both use the pully system mentioned above but compress air in diffrent ways. Where as the turbo uses the heat and pressure from your exhaust system to drive an air compressor. The turbo's tend to be more efficient in the fact that they use normally wasted heat energy from your exhaust to compress air. And as we all know More Air Means More Power!
