Got alot of negative feed back?
Maybe the chain doesn't double over, but rather the chain jumps the gear teeth. I'm still positive this is what happened on my sled. I changed the delaminated rear wheels, the track was still ratcheting and was tight. I had minimal deflection. The track would still ratchet under super heavy load. I installed the anti-stab kit and I rechecked my gears and chain, they were good... again! Then the ratcheting started again under heavy load. I changed the chain and gears and installed the OSP manual tensioner. Samething. This year I bought a Camo Extreme and Avid drivers. Not running the track nearly as tight and I've had no probs. I still believe that if I left the auto tensioner in there, the ratcheting drivers would slack the chain off enough that the auto tensioner, before it could take up the slack, would explode! When I went to change the chain and gears, I removed the cover, just touched the tensioner with my index finger and it fell out? I've done a sh!t ton of work and spent way more than I was anticipating on my 2012 M1100... but I still love my sled! It rips. This is just my experience, I just want to let people know, maybe they can save some money and a few painfull steps in enjoying their ride that much more. Peace guys, Ben.
what happens is the track ratchets (you have to run the power claw guitar string tight, and it will still ratchet under load) then the auto tensioner loosens off, the chain doubles over and the gears eat the chain! The track sucks and so does the drive line!
