Someone rode in the Brundage Ski Area This weekend

Oh yea forgot to say the new boundry will not be the old road on the backside where we went to the lookout. now the road is the boundry we must stay below the road. if you need futher I will make a more detailed reply.

Yea Fatrut, I would like to know where that road is going to be re-routed. I am familiar with area between R and S. And that upper single track(acs place) from the look out to Hartley, the old, old route to S. Thanks. Joel D

The new backside boundry

Ok Uphill I'll try to not confuse anyone. Remember years ago the route at junction R was groomed all the way to junction V. now that road has been move down from junction R to S. So now the route at junction R will no longer be open it will be groomed as a catch road for the new backside lift the ski area now becomes that road and it is only open to snowmobiles to the lower side of the road not the road as before.the trail to Brundage lookout will be moved north coming off the road between R and S. Here is the hard part the road from R to Brundage Lookout will be groomed but only as a catch road for the new lift. there was quite a battle over keeping a route to the lookout as part of the deal Brundage must build the new route to the lookout. I must say I was about to just give up on the route to the lookout however some of the local folks reminded me of how many years we have ridden to the lookout and it was very important. So I hope I did not confuse anyone.

Here in Bozo there is always one or two idiot skiers with sleds up at Bridger Bowl pre-season giving skiers rides to the top, in spite of clearly posted no snowmobiling signs. When you confront them they say "Well i'm only skiing, not really just riding around like a bubblehead." Closed is closed you Friggin' idiot. I have three sleds but I am out earning my turns like everyone else. If a bubblehead can do it, freeloading hippie skiers should be able to as well. These jerks are more than willing to break the law, as long as it is to their own benefit. Yet will show up en masse to land use meetings and protest sled use anywhere on public lands. It's time for some recon, bust one in the act, get it on tape and make an example of them for all their p.o.s. greenie friends to see.

I got it:) Thanks,

Wade. there is no change in the travel plan this winter. Cat roads are closed as soon as they are built ,except for the shared use trail off goose lake. and the route change to brundage lookout. it takes six feet before thay can build a road. hope to see you on the 14th.
