Some of America's smartest!

Aw Gee!!! can't have anymore fun. Ok will leave Ruffy alone, hope he doesn't get to lonely. Swampy:D:D:beer;

Guys I have a favor to ask. Can we stop quoting and responding to the liberals on our site? I think what upsets people most is how could someone support ideas to the left that threaten the viability of the very sport we love? Let me clear that up for you. They aren’t really snowmobilers. They are the people in life always jumping on bandwagons for a few years and then their off to something else, snowshoeing, step aerobics; hiking, passing out fliers for the DNC, anyway you get the point…

Let’s just stop being offended by people that really aren’t part of the sport and focus on sticking together. Isolate and push them into the corner by not letting them set the hook on us over and over again.

Over the past eight years, our nation’s leaders have failed us. Sometimes they invited calamity, rushing us into an ill-considered war in Iraq. But other times, when calamity arrived in the form of hurricanes or financial storms, they sat back, doing too little too late, and too poorly. The list of failures of this Administration is historic. I won't be part of the continuation of the last 8 year debacle!!
But even worse than the conditions we find ourselves in are the false promises that brought us here. The Republican leadership said they would keep us safe, but they overextended our military and failed to respond to new challenges. They said they would be compassionate conservatives, but they failed to rescue our citizens from the rooftops of New Orleans, neglected our veterans, and denied health insurance to children. They promised fiscal responsibility but instead gave tax cuts to the wealthy few and squandered almost a trillion dollars in Iraq. They promised reform but allowed the oil companies to write our energy agenda and the credit card companies to write the bankruptcy rules. I hate to tell you Duke, there are far more important things going on in America than issues related to sledding. I'm thinking of what is better for all not what is better for me or a relatively small group.

There, that is my plank!

I'm just curious the above video aside, what planks of the democratic party platform do you support? You seem pleased that conservatives lost so just curious what you hope now happens that liberals are in control. They are... you realize that right?

See there you go Ruffus. The nature of your output does not cause me to attribute a very high level of intellegence to you. Sorry, words like douche don't do it. Dude above answered exactly as he should have. I'm not interested in debating the validity of the points made above just wanted to know how you two explain the obvious dichotomy between sledding and supporting democrats.

That said dude, those sound a lot like dem talking points. My guess is you've never really discussed those issues with someone who could actually chew gum and tie their shoes at the same time. Start a thread and I'll counter point every assertion that was made. We won't agree on much other than politicians, all politicians, are scum and nothing more than vote chasers. To some how decide that one party who has supported land use issues are scum but the other party that would like to put an end to sledding all together are not scum and therefor worthy of your support, is not a well informed or thought out position. I vote the lesser of two evils and if I go down the list on each side, the repubs even if they are scum, offer me more than the dems. It might be a good thing that they lost their base this cycle. Maybe they'll wake up and be true conservatives. That said, I was not going to go out and cut off my nose to spite my face by voting dem.

Ruffy was giving me a bad time not you!!

No offense duke, but I am not interested in unwinnable wars. What would be the point of having this discussion with you when there would be no end in sight??:confused:
Again, I'm thinking beyond my personal likes, dislikes and needs.

Yours Truely, Justadude!
The rare Gun Loving, Access minded Democrat!
