Soaked Rear & Excessive snow buildup

3 day trip. 2 13 PRO's a 15 Doo & a 14 cat. Snow was wet as its Spring conditions in Feb here in B.C. We hadn't even reached the top of the 7 mile trail up & the 2 pros had brutal snow buildup on the seat, tunnel, boards compared to NONE on the Doo & very little on the Cat. We didn't use our scratchers as the snow was cooling the sleds just fine. Our backsides were soaked through from the seat & the guys said it almost looks like the snow was swirling back at us as we rode. My Pants are Motorfist bibs & buddies were new FXR bibs. We all came to the conclusion that NO outer gear would protect against the amount of slush that built up on the Pro's. I love my Ride but not so much after that experience...WTF, anyone else deal with this issue? Are there any snow guards to stop the back spray?

If you want a Jet Ski Buy ONE!!

If you want a trail sled buy one!!

You Bought a Mountain Sled.. Built For deep snow!!

~Just add on the IQ style Snow Flap.. Your back will stay dry.. Sled will stay cooler..

Ya it's the flap for sure....did another ride with a new aftermarket flap with way less holes...huge improvement!

If you don't want to get wet don't ride in the rain?

Man it is so sad...I just got back from Revy for 3 days & it was +6 at the top of Boulder & Frisby and raining...I spoke to guys from all over B.C. Alta, & the U.S. & they said its the same where they are to. Sure hope its just this season...I haven't even had a deep pow day yet this year...I've usually had 20 by now. I may need counselling if this is my season...and I'm afraid a 2-4ft dump will just slap a band-aid on some serious hazards.

Trust me there ICR...I would never ever go ride in the wet soupy conditions! I've been spoiled rotten riding bluebird, overcast at worst my whole life sleddin in Whistler & never experienced such horrible conditions...unfortunately we went to the only place that had relevant snow 6 hours away with a promising forecast only to have the Pineapple express roll in on us. Of course we had to try & ride instead of whining about it. Trust me, big mtn powder is all I'm in search of!
