So Who Subscribes To SnoWest Mag. Do You?

I do and enjoy every issue and have for years. Its getting crazy as I still have all that I have received and or purchased. Used to subscribe to American Snowmobiler, Snow-Tech, Snow Week, Snow Goer And probably some others I can't remember. I have spent so much on sledding it has always been easy to justify a few mags. And try to support snowmobiling in any way I can. I will say I have in last three years only subscribed to SnoWest. Partly because I enjoy the mag and partly because I enjoy this site year round. Not sure what the future will bring, I would obviously pay the "subscription fee" to be a member here but worry many would not, And would hate to see all, some or any of the helpfull and interesting people here leave.

I wonder how many people will just opt to let there mag subscription go in leiu of the forum fees? It may just be a cost shift.

I pay for my subscription like everybody else and mine is rarely on time like everybody elses.

I do not subscribe to the magazine but I have in the past. I do not subscibe to any snowmobile magazine at the moment but will pick up a SnowTech every now and then.

I subscribe, but I do it mostly to help support the forum. I guess under the new system I'll just subscribe to the forum directly and get all the mags in digital format. $10 a year is nothing for something I really use and enjoy...of course the question is how much will I enjoy it in the future?

I subscribe to both Snowest and Sledheads, and enjoy my time on Snowest forums.

I've been a member since back when it first started I used to be way more active when I raced, but now I mostly browse and ask a few questions or make a comment sparingly. Now I fear just like everyone else that once this goes to a paid site it will become worthless as there will be far fewer members and less info. Also as people disperse from Snowest to places like backcountryrebels we are all going to lose because the relationships we have are going to be lost, not everyone is going to the same place and I like many don't have the time or want to put the effort into multiple forums.

Its not the money for me, but those casual browsers are not going to pay to be here they will go elsewhere.

Sorry PJ didn't mean to hijack this thread just adding my thoughts to it and finally laying out my opinion.

As for problems with the mags only when it comes to delivery times

I do not subscribe, but buy it evey month at the local book store, along with Sledheads, and Snowtech. Have to support the local business's also.

Even though I will soon be able it get online, I can't sit on the crapper with computer, so I will continue to buy the paper copy.

I have subscribed since 2001 when I initially joined this Forum. I usually just glance at it and maintained my subscription because the Forum was so helpful and entertaining. I've moved on to the darkside now so this will probably be my last year as a subscriber. Dan
