I read this freaking site every day at work. I deployed and have a new to me sle with a new motor i rebuilt. There is finally starting to be enough snow and the forest service are opening up the local hotspots while i am sitting in the desert working 6 12 hours shifts. oh well at least i wont have any early season carnage. haha have fun yaall

we had our first real ride today, broke trail all day, 3-4 feet of powder. very sore and tired now. 46 miles and was almost out of fuel when we got the trailer. good day
Not the best conditions to break in new engine but it survived. goin again tommorow to finish breaking trail

Michigan still hasn't solved their trail sponser thing as far as I know. They put out a press realease saying everything was fine but until I see the groomers running or they pay for the groomers that are already delivered I won't even think of going to that state! Their DNR needs a big wake up call IMO and until that happens they won't be getting and trail fees from me.

It's too bad because I do like to ride up in the Keweenaw.

Any san family man won't be caught dead out there tomorrow.

Av danger is 5/5 and with 7 Av chutes on the way up the main trail with 6 more HUGE 3000ft's in the area.

No rides yet. I'm just hoping it stays cold so we don't have another year of snow, melt, snow, melt, snow melt.... We have a good base going if it stays cold and we get one more shot of snow some parts of the midwest will be in business.

I'm just waiting for my two trips to ID MLK weedend and spring break. Everything else is gravy.

no rides here yet, we might go up and try a trail ride tomorrow though should have enough for that by now. we were supposed to have 6-10 inches in the valley between yesterday and today, but nope probably not even an inch in the yard yet and its already starting to melt off. its very depressing
