So! Where do you stay in West Yellowstone MT?

Ok! I have been to West Yellowstone many times and have stayed over night there several times during the non snowmobile season. The only time I have stayed in West during the sled season was February,1999! In that past we have stayed in Island Park and rode both areas, but I am thinking it would be nice to stay there in West and ride the same area's we normally do. So where would you recommend staying for about 5-6 nights? Our rig is 52' long so we need a decent parking area. We don't mind trailering everyday. Want's are, a kitchen, hot tub, and satellite TV. It would be so nice to be able to walk to the Buffalo Bar, The Slippery Otter, and OMG, Wild West Pizza! Any thoughts????:face-icon-small-hap

We just stay at one of the hotels either Best Western or Stagecoach Inn and stuff ourselves with their complimentary breakfast We haven't had a problem parking with a 24' enclosed and crew cab. Right next to the Best Western there is a rv park area that's closed and there's always trucks and trailers using that area. Maybe we have been lucky by not going on a popular weekend but do love that town for dinner options after riding. We ride right from town everyday the only time we had to trailer was to go pickup one of our blown sleds that we had to drag out of the backcountry to a trail then to a road.

goldenwest has condos that are very nice for about $200/ night. they have a nice kitchen but no hot tub. we also stay at the stage coach too

Look into VRBO

7 miles west of town is an area where you can find a lot of vacation rentals. I've gone here on 3 different occasions and found the parking much easier and the trail system is right there. No need to move your trailer unless maybe heading to Island Park area. It's pricier, but you're renting a house instead of a room. Just another option for you to consider. Have fun. We're going to try the McCall area in ID this year for 2 weeks.
