So I bought a sled without a registration (don't worry, it was a sub $100 sled). Well, the guy that its registered to isnt alive anymore. What do I need to do to register it into my name? am i better parting it out?

Sleds have no "title" in WA state, just a registration. Just get a bill of sale from whoever you bought it from and go register in your name........

the person you bought it from has some type of paper that says it is theirs in some way, you need that paper , bill of sell, and death certificate.

I bought a truck last year that was titled to a deceased man. All I needed was a copy of his death certificate from his widow and a letter from her stating that she as his widow was selling the truck and signing on behalf of her deceased husband. No issues.

depends on the state some have titles, then you need to do some searching and get a title if it is a non title state just write a bill of sale to yourself.

FirstgenCTD, did you just move to WA, if so then save your self and go back, you are going to get taxed out of your house and home. as far as your snowmobile I wouldn't even bother with it just ride it where there is no squirt gun patrol park rangers. there are plenty of place's.

Well, ive never been in this situation. Anything i've bought had a title/registration, and i've never had a problem with it.
