So what's gonna happen when 800R's blow out of warranty??

Ive come to realize that having warranty isnt good enough when you are sitting on your butt for 2 months out of your riding season. free repair or not, its just not worth it to me. Cant imagine owning the sled out of its warranty period. I went to Cat and am extremely happy so far!!

I have 1650 miles on '07 R'. Absolutely no problems with engine :) Was thinking about having RK Tek give me a little more snap - is this a good idea or not? What should i do when & if i tear it down? Oh yeah, I used to ride cats for many years and they were great.......untill I started rideing Doo's -nothing else comcompares! Hey AKREV151 you will be back. If you were completely happy with your cat you wouldnt be on this forum. Sorry , just my opinion.:beer;:beer;

So what exactly does Turboal do for setup on these? Im not looking to take his ideas and try to do them cheaper or anything. Just curious what it would cost.

Ive been on turboal's website before. All that I could find was info on his cans though. Does anyone know what else he is doing to the 07 800s to get the most out of them? (beside big bores)

Im actually 110% pleased with the Cat, best sled Ive ever ridden. Im not brand loyal though and read all the forums, especially ones specifically about guys that were in my shoes not long ago.....doesnt mean Ill buy every brand of sled or am unhappy on my current one :)With that said I could easily be back in a few years to doo if they ever get thier sh*t straight. Local dealers being a major issue as well unfortunately.

I called the sledshed today. The package that they offer for the 800R is 650 bones. It includes 19/47 gearing and ramps, arms, spring, wieghts, and rollers for the primary. She wasnt sure if there was anything for the secondary or not. They also recommended shaving the head to bump the compression.
