Maybe the airport activity the other night that the whole south side of town is bitching about jets leaving threw out the night that we're not cargo or commercial has something to do with this.

Volcanic ash and jet engines don't get along with each other AT ALL. Piston engines actually fare much better, but there are not many larger ones left in service.

Did you know a famous ship hit a military ship many many years ago, captained by wealth because common folk weren't allowed such privileges, the damage was so bad that the only way to fix it was to cut the ship in two to rebuild the frame because it's next inspection would of failed of being sea worthy.
The ship never did have the repairs done.
It's fate soon met another demise and to this day it's footage taken a few years ago of it laying at the bottom of the sea has not been released, but a few crumbs to appease the curiosity.
The name on that ship is the Titanic, 1912 , WW1 was 1914.
