So many RMKs

Was just browsing the different RMK models
There is axsys, matryx, slash pro and khaos.
Are the all wrapped around the axsys chassis?

Which one would be the basic mountain deep pow boondocker?
Like boondocking training wheels.?

Axys

Matry and slash pro are this year's new chasis; khaos, from what I've read is more of a playful sled.

If you have the decision between the Axys and Axys Khaos, the Khaos is suspension tunable to work in most environments but the shock package is well worth the effort.

Yes and no. Just sold my 21 Khaos 165 because I prefered my 2019 RMK with piggy backs. Not because of my riding style but because my RMK rode better than the Khaos. It is true that the Velocity shocks are nice but the 21 models did not have the valving to give adequate rebound dampening. Only the slow speed and fast speed compression dampening are adjustable. I believe Polaris valved them to lift quickly for "Instantaneous Lift" but at the price of bucking off trail bumps. Also the 21 Khaos used the older technology steel springs. The 22 will be revalved with the light weight springs so I expect most will be happy going forward. The 21 valving was perfectly fine once you got off the trail.
