so ive done alot of thinking tonight....and had a good talken too.

Cosing between family/friends and sledding is not a choice you should have to think on for very long. My family/friends come first. Always have always will. The things I have can all be replaced. Family/friends cannot. Good luck and remember to think first.

Never choose "stuff" over your family and friends. It doesn't really even mean anything without them. Happiness comes from sharing the times of your life with others. It does not come from having things in your garage.

Well spoken! I had that discussion on the mountain with some buddies the other day! It was an amazing, over the hood and head pow day!.....we whooped it up....lots of high fives.....a perfect day with friends!!! Wouldn't have been the same if I had just been there by myself!! ;) Good luck!

Remember.....the grass often looks greener on the other side of the fence.....usually just different grass.....most people have either dogs or weeds making a mess of their grass too! Just can't see it from your side!:)

It's good to hear that you are making the right choices now. Tough to make decisions like that when you are in your early 20's. No matter what you have done in the past you can make things right and it sounds like you are on the proper path. Good luck!

I had alot of changes come my way this last year and decided to sell out. I need to spend more time with my family before the kids are gone. I can always ride again after they have grown up. I miss it.......but not as much as I thought I would.

Good on you!!!

The best part of life...is we all make mistakes, and we all get the chance to own up to them and make them right...

no idea who you are, but will have you in our prayers!!

we all have made mistakes. the hardest part is learning from those mistakes. you are doing the right thing even if you think its not. good to see you are getting your life straightened out. i too sold my sled last year to get my finances in order. not being able to go to the mountains is killing me but i know that i will be back & the next time will be even better.
the best of luck to you!

You are half way there

Dear Mtnmax 600, it takes alot of maturity and emotional intelligence (EQ) to be able to say "I messed up but I'm going to do what I can to make things right". Good for you bud and I sincerely wish you all the best. Friends and family mean much more then material possessions. I grew up on a farm and around sleds from a pretty young age. And when I started going to University it was really hard to see my older brothers and friends go out sledding when I couldn’t go because I couldn’t afford it and was trying to get an education. But I survived and it wasn’t until I was out of school a few years and able to pay off most of my debts before I could afford a starter sled (92 Polaris SKS 500 efi) and get back into the sport. By this time I was nearly 30. But it was the right decision and looking back I’d do it the same way over again, no regrets. By doing the right thing back then and being responsible and mature, I was able to make something of myself. Your young and if you do the right thing now, your efforts, hard work, and positive thinking will pay for itself in the years to come.

I wish you all the best, and sounds like your making the right decisions…you have my respect….I wish more people your age can do what your doing.
