So I guess handwarmers and hot clutches aren't that bad....

I still think it is that Dragons and water don't mix. Too steal a line from Whitefish

Think you're right, I've never seen a sled run good or at all really with a bunch of snow/water in the air box.

When I first put pods on my rev mod 2 years ago without any prefilter it would about send me over the bars if it sucked up some snow dust....

It's a 1st year sled, did anybody really expect it to be perfect? I knew when I bought the XP that I'd have issues, but I bought it anyways. I knew if I would have bought the Dragon, I'd be dealing with the same things. I bought the XP, because my dealer always is willing to go the extra mile to help us out. They'll get it worked out, it's just a matter of time. Both sleds are going to be rocking within a few months. I'd say SD will be 1st, only because they've had more time to work out the bugs. The only problem I've had is the hand warmers, but it's alot better than a bog when your sidehilling over a bunch of trees.

This thread is gay....why start a thread in the Doo section to rip on another brand? Too scared they'll be mean to you over there?

Funny how "Jay" and "Gay" ryhme isn't it???

Anyway,
Didn't start the thread to start chit, just remember the Polaris boys coming over and ripping on our iron a bit. Funny that they get to eat a little crow since their 1st year sled is having a few issues. I honestly hope the dragon runs as good as the XP, the more manufacturers with great sleds the more we benefit from it.

I wonder if Yamaha ever had these kind of issues in the last couple of years ? Nope !

What I think is funny is that Doo guys are not over there bashing the heck out of the Dragon like all the other brand loyals do to the XP. I guess us Ski Doo riders are a much higher class of people.:)

Why is this thread gay? Nobody is bashing the Dragon, just stating that other brands are having issues. If it's so gay to you, why do you keep coming in here reading it? All new sleds are going to have issues, and that's what he's saying. It's a high HP light weight brand new 2 stroke. If anybody wants a heavy reliable sled, they buy a Yamaha.

Hmmm. 100 lbs more weight (260 HP) vs :

blowing belts at 160 bucks a pop
regearing
clutch machining
clutch re weighting
no handwarmers
poor secondary adjuster
broken drive shafts
inconsistent gauges
track rubbing = HP loss
relays blowing
fuel tanks recalls
fragile rails

Shall i go on ! Give me a fuggin break. But it is the best stock sled out there so i'm told !

Whatever makes you feel like your sled is worth something ! Keep dreaming ! C'mon, deep down you know your sled is a hunk of junk that works pretty good in the snow ! Its okay we all understand !

Summitboy, you are sounding like Veedy, when he was a yamanewb last year.. LOL:). He was the same, bleeding blue...:D to the death.. heeh

Sell me your junk doo for 7000$ if it is junk and then you won't have to worry anymore.. HAHA Pretty good $$$ for junk...

Guess the apex is giving you no problems, compared to your doo...I was unaware you were having all of those problems.

Sorry to hear that.

I can fix alot of this list for way less then the cost of your turbo,
also it's more like 160 lbs.

LOL come on....Doo owners never said much about the 900 RMK eh?? The XP has a list much the same, but it's fine right? They all have issues....that's why I think the squabbling is so fruity....

Not mine ! And after i spend the 1000 bucks to fix that list i still have a 125 HP sled ! All you XP guys make me laugh, you bring new meaning to brand loyalty, right to the bitter end eh.

My take is, I own a XP and although it may work well it is a way bigger piece of junk than my Yamaha. My wife rides the XP for the most part. I'm afraid if I rode it like my Yamaha i would need a belt every 50km, especially in the super deep snow ! I don't care what clutch mods you claim to have because mine are modded as well and i know for a fact i could still burn belts.

The XP has nowhere near the same caliber of of engineering in it as my Yamaha. Period !

Marcuso, i will sell you my XP for 13,000 bucks that way you can have the full experience of owning a XP Doo ! Yup it really does hurt !
