sry I had to do this becuz i am not a premium member but how are the conditions out there is it hard or powder snow?

Was out yesterday. Snowpacked go anywhere snow. Ran ice scratchers all day. Not the best riding but better than not riding.:face-icon-small-hap

For the premium members, the report is much different!

I personally rode last fri and sat without guides and road untracked almost all day both days! We rode in the trees, played in meadows, and in some awesome valleys that we could barely climb out of! Everything I learned about riding the snowies can be learned with a premium membership.

Buy a membership and learn were the good stuff is!!!! It is the cheapest expense with the greatest return for a trip to the Snowies!!

X2,The price of a membership is well worth it. Try it for a year and see.

Friday was good. Blower in the AM, spring snow in the afternoon. Saturday was getting heavy. After that, crap. Needs to snow bad.

It was in the 50's yesterday, today I was up for a 'bout an hour around noon. Made a quick trip out to HQ park and back. It was snowing hard and blowing at that time, visibility was challenging at times. Really hadn't accumulated much at that time; maybe a couple of inches; but if it keeps up at that pace it should add up.

My parents had 3-4 inches of fresh this morning at the cabin - snowed off and on all day but did not accumulate much. They rode over to Med Bow Lodge for lunch and said visibility on the way back to their place was tricky in a few spots.

We had dinner tonight with friends that live out by the V-bar. We had to stop a few times on the way back, the snow and wind were that bad. Funny thing, the weather man doesn't even have us in a watch, go figure!

It's all true!

I keep statistics on my riding each weekend and since I became a Premium Member of SnoWest I have tracked the following:

- My fuel mileage has gone up .5 mpgs
- I now climb 5% higher on all steep hills
- I get stuck 25% less
- My friends think I am 75% cooler than I really am

Sorry folks, started off with high expectations, summarily dashed. Snow last night was disappointing, maybe 2" to 4". Forecasts show chances thru the weekend, keep your fingers crossed.
