We went up on Sunday to check on things at the cabin, shovel what little snow was on the deck, and put some road miles on (friends were putting some miles on a new sled). We rode FS 500 (Q) to the west and you can see that it burned really hot in the Mullen creek drainages - directly north of Savage run it the fire was more sporadic as it came out of the wilderness - some areas burned pretty good - others weren't touched. Definitely need a lot more snow - way behind compared to most seasons at this point.
