Took a few days off and took the ole bike out to the snowies for the weekend. Hiked around and will say I sure miss the two stroke for pulling me up those hills! Beautiful country up there and sure looks a lot different in the summer. One thing I never knew was right next to the Med bow peak observation spot was this old vertical shaft mine. I have been going there for years and never knew it was there!
The other is Silver lake drop from highway. It sure is surprising how many rocks we do ride over. It is just a shame how much beetle kill there is around Silver lake. Heck it is 80% dead. They need to harvest what they can and get to replanting. Anyway a couple pics for you..
