Wanting to go to Snowy Range next week Jan. 23rd-28th. Is it worth it? We are looking for off trail riding. Please help? If not the Snowies where is the snow better? Togwotee? Cooke City? Any help is much appreciated!

I'm not going to tell you what to do but I will tell you about my weekend at the snowies! I lost a set of a arms (bent) was able to limp along for the day so my brother could ride! 4 hours later just east of N and NO trail junction I skipped off a rock that took out the bearings on my drive shaft on my mountain cat. It is rideable but you have to be VERY careful. I'm putting the sled back together and waiting for more snow. If you make the trip I hope your luck is better than mine.
