snowy range and buff pass

just road 4 days out west, 2 at snowy range and 2 at buff pass (wed thru sat). wed and thursday at snowy range. parked at albany and road west and then north to the first safety hut. 2 to 3 foot of powder in meadows, great riding but the base is loose. buff pass on friday and saturday 2 to 3 feet of fresh with a better base than snowy range. 6 feet on top at the tower. never made it to the top of the lines on saturday, played in meadows off the lines for hours. meadow after meadow of untouched snow. lucked out coming from iowa.

headed to snowies on Friday. Hopefully the sun comes out this week and sets it up and then dump 6inch to a foot of fresh before we get there. Where in Iowa are you from? Im originally from Storm Lake.

I rode Rabbit Ears last wednesday. It was pretty beat up but they did get snow thursday and friday. We rode Whiskey Park friday and it was awesome. lots of fresh powder!

Its north of Steamboat Springs by about an hour and a half. Just north of Steamboat Lake
