I thought these looked pretty solid. Haven't heard a peep about them in awhile.

Not much CMX talk either.

There a a few on here and he fact you don't hear about them is great IMO. Most people only post problems!

There are a couple threads that sing high praise, I have one on the way myself a 129 for my cr500 should be here in about a week.

Solid Kits, I've had the opportunity to ride a 129 in deep mushy pow.

Good Power transfer from the engine. The ski seemed to hold its own. it didn't get on top of the snow as well as I'd like but that could have been the snow conditions as well.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy if the price was right.

Second season on my 2016 129, very happy with it. I have rode a 2017 TS LE and Yeti w/ raptor 3rd shock to compare. Jaron, the owner of the company, stands behind his kit 100%. Going to get next year's kit from Snowtech... will be lighter, Maxtrak II, upgraded bearings and seals.

Here's a video from our ride Monday.

Just got my 16 129 in the mail yesterday. This kit is LEGIT! the quality is remarkable, more suspension travel than imaginable.

Rear is bolted up to my cr500 and I need to make a bushing for the ski mount since im using the original 43mm forks for now. Ski is nice as well

First ride in on a pre-production 2018 SnowtechMX 120 kit this weekend. Here are a few photos and videos of the kit before I installed it. I didn't have the third shock at the moment of these photos. I will get more this weekend :face-icon-small-coo.

I kinda feel like calling BS on your scale. Your telling me your new kit is as light as my only one without a track on it? Where did 20+# go? Same skid, same side panels, same shafts

Is that the new profile yeti ski too? Looks like it, but surprised c3 would give it to competitors. How's it work?

I'm not sure, it is definitely different from my 16 ski. Still stinks on crust. It was definitely a hate/love thing Saturday. We started on rock hard crust in the morning where it wanted to pull my arms off darting everywhere, then tater'd out snow in the afternoon where it was rocking compared to the TS ski's.

GRR - this scale should be within a lb or two, it is a good scale. the kit feels noticeably lighter. You can ask Jaron on the weight

I've had very little experience on one it was just a quick demo ride in crappy snow conditions at the West expo last year. I was surprised by how sound it was, normally you jump on a lot of the brands and they all have their own noise or vibration. This thing was surprisingly quiet and just solid feeling while riding. Leaned over easy. I would really like to take one for a ride in better snow conditions for a day to feel it out. At that time Jaron was messing with skis I think and for the conditions I hated the Yeti ski it had too much bite. If you follow him on instagram or facebook you can kinda keep up a bit more. He still doesn't post a ton. Seemed like a good guy from chatting with him at the expo for a few though. There's a company in West Yellowstone that runs his kits on their rentals, must be pretty decent.

First Ride. I pretty much slapped the kit on, set the track tension, and rode all day without a hitch. The new skid grease zerks eliminate all the squeaks from the delrin bushings, and make everything feel smoother in the suspension. I noticed the lack of rolling resistance when coasting downhill, and can roll the bike back and forwards with relative ease when stopped compared to the 16 kit.

The MaxTrak II is a night and day difference from the original MaxTrak. This one will dig and grip hard snow like the TS track. Coming up some steep climbs on firm snow I could pull the ski in the air without any trouble. Last year I had some similar climbs where I ended up sliding backwards spinning the MaxTrak I at the rev limiter in 3rd.

I set the front spindle rake to the forward "raked out" position (axle bolt almost verticle with the ski bolt) it made the ski want to stay on top and track better coming off of drops. No more feeling like I was going to scorpion over the bars coming down. Turning hard in the afternoon mank was a lot more confidence inspiring. With the ski set back behind the axle bolt, the ski would want to bury and load up with snow, causing the front end to wash out. The downside to the forward position, though, is on crusty snow the yeti dart ski is a bit harder to control. It only takes a few minutes to adjust the rake, if I feel the need to change it.

I'm really excited to get back out on the kit hopefully this weekend. I put my sled up for sale.

Second ride on it, still haven't had to touch anything. Very stoked on this new kit. The suspension is working great with the new third shock.

You can't see here but there are four grease zerks on the swingarm alone. Everything feels really solid and tight. I don't picture ever bending the rails or swingarm.

Two mount points for the rear shock base. Front will increase the leverage ratio for a softer ride. I usually run it in the rear.

There will be poly chain guides in the front of the adaptors on the bulkhead soon, I had him send me the kit asap without them so I could get on the snow before most of the riding areas melted out.

The adjustable spindle is in the forward raked out position. I really liked it on the last two rides and don't plan to change it.
