Snowmobiling Coffee Pot Deep lake Area in White River National Forest???

Hello, I first off wanted to say that I am new to the site and love it so far!! I was just wondering if any of you guys have ever snowmobiled up to here? It looks like a good ride and I would be heading up to fish the lakes up there. If anyone has been up there lately how is the snow cover?

Also, I was wondering if you guys have any other suggestions of where to go snowmobiling with some friends to more remote lakes for fishing that is no more than 2 hour drive from Breckenridge.

Thanks!!!!

There's no fish on the flat tops! :face-icon-small-win It's a fantastic place for both of your chosen activities, but I would bet with all this warm weather the lower sections of coffee pot are melted out and mud. Haven't been there recently to confirm, just my suspicion.

My son and his family, 4 sleds, rode Coffee Pot Sunday the 15th of March, a little mud from the mid parking lot to the upper lot, should be plowed to the upper lot by now. They rode the west side of the Flattops from West Elk traihead the next day. Both rides were great. They rode to the top of Blair Mountain both days.
