Just got to wondering, does anybody know how many different snowmobile companies there are around the world, is it just the big 4 that we know or are there others?

Just bored and thought I would ask if anyone happens to know how they do it overseas...

I have seen lots of Polaris and Ski-doo sleds in foreign videos but it made me wonder if there are others that we don't have here.

As far as I know, just your snow hawk's, and Dirt Bike add-on companies. I have been surprised over the years that Honda didn't climb on board. Now that would make things interresting...

I imagine in Europe there must be other builders too.

Wow, It looks like they Borrowed from a 1970's Ski doo, and a 1990's Yamaha, and whatever parts they could find from polaris,and cat.

Truth is, The markets, competition, and the economy took out most of these companies in the 70's, and early 80's. along with buy-outs, and take-overs.
