Proud of you,

let it be said most everybody involved on the consumer end of Snow Hawks has never represented themselves to be dishonest!

That's why I'm always turning folks onto the Ebay/etc. machines, won't feel so guilty when mine are all thats left to to the world, wear and tear that is.

Full disclosure!

He called me a homie :D I have not been called that in YEARS

Well good on ya for trying to help Brant, Ive never seen the sled, and I have not rode with brant in about 2 years, so I dunno :rolleyes: I dont know anything about a "said" bad deal. I just know a thread like this should be in the snowhawk section, if people wanted to read about it, they would go there :)

I say good day to you :beer;

Then you tell me why the sled was low on coolant when you sold it to me? Where is it going. If it goes through a bottle a ride then you must have had to add some before. And when I picked it up, how long did it run for loading? Not long enough to get hot and to create pressure therefor pushing past a head o-ring or base gasket.

The speedo is the oldest trick in the book. You repeated yourself saying it had 2000 miles when selling it. But yet you said it was a typo and only had 1000 miles. Wouldnt you catch it the second time if not the first? You seem to know exactly where it is for not knowing what kind of track it even had.... weird.

I had 3 sleds at the beggining of this year- sold all of them. Bought 3 more- Steph wrecked one- sold one to buy another- 8 sleds yes, but only one with a problem. Thats pretty good in my book.

I wasnt going to say anything about the sled untill I saw your post about Steph and I. Kind of uncalled for don't you think. And if I worried what Nate said on this forum, it would be a full time job.

First ride was the 19th. Didnt get back till the 21st. Just found out about the problems.

Oh yes, when you say this sled is in excelent condition. does that include the dings and dents in the rear of the tunnel, the 15 paddles ripped off the track, the front suspention bushings all broke. Yes these are things I got to look at first hand before buying the sled, but I was expecting an excelent sled. I didnt feel like turning down the sled sense you drove a ways to meet me.

New sled = warranty
Used sled = sometimes you buy trouble, cheaper than new for sure, but sometimes you buy trouble.

I can take some pics of the other part of the track (it looks like you spun out on a rock/log)? and the broken bushings and dings in the rear of the tunnel, but im not going to because I bought the sled knowing it had those flaws. Even though I asked you on here what were all the flaws of the sled before I went and picked it up.

No thanks for the money, thanks for the offer but I'm not mad about the money part. I still believe it is a good sled, just not the sled I was told about.

Way Out There!!

Pretty interesting where this thread started, where it went, and how it's come back to some common sense.

Hopefully:rolleyes::face-icon-small-con:beer;:beer;;)

LMAO at the Homey the Clown vid on YouTube. Guess ma wife's weight! That's funny sh!t.:D

It's just a fact,

once a rider connects with this machine they can't stop talking about it.

My sister who enjoys riding a 503F occasionally spent Wednesday on the JR120 breaking all kinds of trail.

She figures the reason some of the kids in the group won't putt the learning time in is it's too easy to Twoski, until tipover or Stuck City.

Let's test that next time the under aged/over machined rider gets stuck leave them to themselves for a while see how easy they find unsticking by themselves.

Now she wants to leave her Artic Cat 570 Mountain at the cabin and ride the Hawk.

If we had an in between machine say 300cc would be many women and teens seeing it her way.

just add me to the list, i put the sites no. 1 moron on the ignore feature good riddence snow hawk addict

I've been watching Hawks evolve for as long as they've been around, sat on one in Cooke a couple years ago, talking bout what a blast it would be to try one but not having the coin to rent when I had a sled sitting there.Even came upon some tracks back up in Round Lake,

My boy and I were sitting in Bear Lodge parking lot last ride, waiting for highway to open so we could head out, and a couple new Hawks blew through and headed up north, looked like fun.

Would like to try the 800HO with a 151 or 159" track:D.

I know they couldn't go some of the places we go on sled because of flotation issues (156x16x2.5):D, but in the wide open Big Horns they'd be a blast.
