Snowmobile titles in Oregon???

I'm thinking of purchasing a slightly used snowmobile from Oregon. Do they Title them in that state??? Just wondering how much of a problem it will be to get it transfered to Idaho.

Yep. Usually a piece of cake to transfer. If we buy an out-of-stater here on Oregon we just have to take it to the DMV for a VIN # check. You won't have any trouble.

Exactly!! If it has an aftermarket tunnel good luck on the out of state title. Otherwise it should be easy.

they charge $77 for 2 years , takes 4-6 weeks to get new title

Super easy if you are buying from Oregon, they have a title so make sure they have it. Bring it to Idaho and make sure you bring the sled, title and bill of sale to the DMV and they will do a vin inspection. They'll register it and give you a temp title while the new one is issued in Idaho. If it has an aftermarket tunnel it makes it a little harder but there are ways to get that done as well, just make sure you have the original vin stamped in it or the old vin cut from the old tunnel and riveted nicely on the new tunnel.

I have a skidoo w/vanamburg tunnel. It has an oregon title with an oregon replacement vin sticker on the tunnel.
