Snowmobile Stackable Storage

Here's what I built a few years ago. I store the sleds on it in the summer time to free up shop space. It's pictured with my old sleds, but you get the idea anyways.

It'll hold 2 short tracks and a long track, or 2 long tracks and misc other crap.

Most people can't figure out how the hell the sleds even get up there when they come in the shop for the first time. :)

That's a bad-*** storage system. I was thinking of welding up a stand-alone double stack, but I'm moving and don't want more crap to move.

Thanks guys, it works really well although I'd have made it shorter if I knew I was going to sell the short trackers. Maybe a longer ramp too. I keep my kids quads and dirtbikes up there in the winter.

That rack looks killer but a LOT of work!

I stole these pics off here a few years ago and built one.....

Blk88gt - looks good. Curious how the sled gets onto that 45 degree ramp with what appears to be limited level space on the floor at the bottom of ramp.

I was wondering the same thing. I did notice there is a long piece of old track attached to the ramp.

What's under the car cover? Just nosey. :face-icon-small-hap

Space is pretty limited to get the sleds on the ramp. It worked great for the short tracks but leaves something to be desired for the long tracks. The old track provides traction to get the sleds up onto the ramp. I drive them up!

This is what's under the tarp:
