Snowmobile snow report for Vail pass?

I have never ridden there, so can anyone tell me how its looking for friday?
or would I be better served to ride Rabbit ears?

Snow pack is still low, however i rode SC today 4-5' but there is no base so take it easy and you'll be good get rowdy and you might find a rock or stump to ruin your day. The ears got ALOT of snow outta this last storm however its probably the same issue with no base.

I had a GREAT day last sunday at RE..

Nobody in my group of 3 hit anything but we are not hardcore tree bangers... But we did play in the trees

I would recommend going to corona instead if you are in denver otherwise def hit the ears or buff pass.

We have been riding up at Vail Pass for the past 2 weeks. Just up there this past Thursday. The base is getting there but like other said we still could use more. The trails are good and there are plenty of spots to dip into the meadows without any concern.

You will find more than enough snow to have a good time.

We were up at Vail pass today, IMHO still slim pickins! Parking lot at the pass was full on. Another 2' and it will be much better! Went up high and were able to find 4' or better. Still need to ride with care!
The highlight of the day was the ride to Mango's for Lunch and a few drafts!

Was at Vail Pass today. Not great!. Good start for base. All tracked up. Found some stash of freshies. Still needs lots of snow!! I guess Buffalo Pass is sucking up all the snow.

Whats fastest route to Buffalo pass from Denver? Grizzly creek parking area?
