Snowmobile lift

Igloo or Coleman.

I was going to say Skyjacker or Les Schwaub!

And how much was it to ship that bad boy? I looked around and some of the companies that sell comparable lifts are asking for approx. 75% of what the lift costs, just to ship it. Shipping has gotten to be a bigger scam and racket than taxes and insurance.

I picked one up at the Fargo store when I ws in town.
Yeah, shipping would be a killer.

And it is wide enough for a sled?

It's probably 22"-24" wide.
I removed the wheel vise & ramp.
I simply stradle the skis off the sides & drive right on (& off)

Wheels allow mobility when loaded.

I'll see if I have a photo that shows anything for you.

In the lower pic, you pump the left pedal to raise platform.
The smaller right pedal lowers it.
There is a safety bar you can insert which would prevent it from coming down. (like if your kid or dog were to put weight on the release pedal)
I always use this if I leave it raised & un-attended.
The pedals have cotter pins to hold them on the square shafts.
I discarded these pins since I remove pedals to drive snowmobile onto lift.

Do you have a harbor freight in your area?

As Mafesto said.. they are a good lil lift, work decent and are affordable. We had a few of them in the shop when I worked for the Arctic Cat Dealership back in my hometown. Easy to make a set of 'wings' for it to widen it for ski width if needed. They are not bulky or spendy like the Direct Lift Pro Cycle XLT DT's that I have left from when I closed my shop in early 2011. I also have one like cpnkirk posted a link for. I dont like how high that one lifts. My preference is, of coarse, the Direct Lifts for stability and height that it lifts units to be serrviced. Then again, not everyone wants to invest over $4k into shop lifts as I did.
