This evening we activated one of the biggest new features we are bringing to the SnoWest forums. As outlined in the "Letter to all Members from Harris Publishing"

4. Video-Chat, Text-Chat, and online Webinar Broadcasts
This is likely the biggest single new feature ever brought to SnoWest. Our new commercial grade chat room will support Video, Audio, Text, Image Transfer, File Transfer, You-Tube, MP3, and more. This is where you can come to converse, in real time with other SnoWest members, watch (or make) a webinar presentation, and see movie debuts. When you have a few minutes and just want to hang out, or attend a presentation on moding your sled or avalanche safety, this will be the place.
This new feature went live at 10:00pm Weds night.
If you look on your black menu bar, on the far left side you will see "Chat". Click on that link to enter the main chat room. If you have not previously installed Adobe Flash Player, you will need to do so first.

Once you enter the chat room you will be presented with several different discussion rooms.
General Discussions
Warming Hut #1 & 2 (Video-Audio-Text)
Warming Hut #3 (Text Only)
Sled Specific Discussions
Arctic Cat
Polaris
Ski-Doo
Yamaha
These rooms are open to your 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from this point forward. As time progresses we will add additional rooms to meet the needs and requests of our members.
The same rules that apply to the main forums will apply in the chat rooms!
I invite you to take a moment and drop in to take a look around.
PS.. If you don't have a web-cam and a headset, you may find yourself heading over to Wallmart to pick one up very soon...
