Snowest Mag subscription--Grrrr.

I'm beyond frustrated. If your considering a paid subscription of snowest magazine, DON'T!

They are the most unreliable magazine service provider known to man.
Really, how hard can it be? If you have to call every few months to remind them that they have a three year payment and are months behind, what's the point.

They suck!

I quit taking it and sledheads aobut 2 years ago. Nothing but adds and no real good info anymore. Plus every issue the last year had about 37 pics of Dan Gardiner doing cornice drops

I let my subscription expire. There was not a lot of info in the mag. to start with and I only got about half my copies! I don't know who got to read all the ones I did'nt get but I hope they enjoyed the ads! All the snowmobile mags. suck. If they do have any usefull info in them, it is 3 months outdated! They have the worlds slowest writers and editors.

I look through them on the rack and if I see something worthwhile (other than the worthless drivel of the editors) I might buy it, those guys are so full of themselves it makes me sick.

Not sure if that is true, I just recieved vol 36 No2 yesterday and they have the "Battle of the 8's" I was like cool, 10's reviewed already! Nope, 09'. End of the season review???? Ok, so I'm being sarcastic.......

Snow tech is the only mag i will buy.Got my new one friday and it already has the 2010 sleds in it.Plus it came with the new polaris demo dvd.

Without the mag, this forum goes away and where would we be without a place to bite the hand that feeds us?

This forum is where I get most of the info I need about the new sleds and fixes for the old ones.

You just have to filter out the bad information from the legit.

In reality, I have received all the mags except for the latest but I have not read a single one all season. Maybe during the summer.

But to come on Snowests forum and bash the magazine that funds it is...Well, pretty stupid IMHO.

I subscriped to it oh i dont know 5 weeks ago on the internet and i still havent gotten an issue, i get to hear about everything in it on here though thats definetly worth the money. What a joke.

The reason I bashed the magazine is quite simple.

I paid for a product (3 years, 2 magazines) that is entirely unreliable. If I get a magazine from them it's more often a surprise than not. I have not moved. I am paid in full. I'm simply stating they are not delivering. I am not bashing the content as others are for the simple reason THAT I RARELY GET THE DANG THING TO BEGIN WITH. Calls, emails, and even in person begging at snow shows for over a year have not increased the consistency of delivery. Go to the contact us page and they even have a link stating something like "not getting your magazine?" Hmmm. I must not be the only one.

On occasion I have purchased the magazine off the rack because I never recieved the one I had already paid for. And that gives me a reason to rant.

BTW AdRev, I agree with your reply. Except the last part. (no offense taken either) The advertisers pay for this site, and the magazine. If we don't get the product we pay for from someone one this site, after trying to get them to do the right thing, we mention it as a warning/service to others. Should Snowest Magazine be held to a different standard when they don't deliver the goods? I think not.

This forum is fantastic, and in fact I have stressed that to them.

i dont think dan drops any cornices unless there is is a pretty good cliff underneath it that make it into mags.

also have a 3 yr sub, have to call to receive the rag every month, getting real old. I'll let sub lapse as well and only by what interests me at the news stand. Definitely run by team 2 management.
