14 catagories--low score wins--YOU doo the math--:confused::confused: why do you have a challenge then not call a winner--
doo First place 9--seconds 3--thirds 2 = 21 points
cat-----------4----------8--------2 = 26 points
poo-----------1----------4--------9 = 36 points

Guess they figure that you can do simple math and by golly you can, congratulations!! :D

And I am sure by not saying it out loud they dont upset their sponsors.

Hmm, better check the order of advertising in the issue again, might be the same as the 800 magazine that came out earlier this year......

Im glad im not the only one that doesnt notice this crap.. Last time i read a snowest mag it was loaded with polaris ads, probly Cat now, i remember when it was skidoo, and cat again with the m7 they also managed to "clean house" in the powder challenge the same years, hmmm.

my point is Snowest had no problem in 2007 when the 700 dragon was declared the winner in the 800 class why 2009 with no winner-:confused:-thats my point--

Ya, I kniow what you are saying, kinda BS they don't just say take these numbers with a grain of salt, but here is the winner. But to me, I think what they should just say is take this as a grain of salt... :beer;

Green for you T/A

I dont trust any of the challenge......It is still about opinions

Lets try something new...Lets pull 6 guys off the street that have never ridden a sled and are not brand bias and let them take the sleds up the hill. This way it goes fair to the machine that is easiest to ride and climbs the best with a novice. With any of the new sleds a pro rider should be able take any of the 800's over the hill with no problem.

When it come down to it, personal chioce is still how we pick a sled

agree

The numbers are pretty clear. The Doo is the BEST and every one that cant make up their own mind as to what sled is the BESTEST one should go buy a Doo! THAT XP JUST ROCKS!!! Better go get one because it scored a 21!:confused:

My M8 spanked close to 26 of those super bad Doo's so far this year. Looks like my M8 is right where it should be at 26 points! I think I'll stick with the old school under powered M8!:D:beer;

Does this mean that you don't have to be a good rider to get to the top with a XP? I've had guys on XP'x try to sidehill across a steep slope behind me and I know thats not what they do well!

ALL sled magazines are biased, I have little time for them, go pick up just about any Motorcycle magazine and you will see how tests are supposed to be run, they nick pick every little thing, give set up tips for each bike tested, weigh them, drag race them, what ever it takes to pick a winner, and they always pick a winner, and when a bike is crap they say so, and guess what, the next year its fixed. I have even seen some new bike releases held up so something could be fixed after a shoot out, OK Rant over. :p

I hate to say it but I almost agree with the SW guys, I think that this year all three are making a good capable sled, try them all and pick the one that fits your needs/wants best.
