snowchecked a 2013 LTD, have a '11 rg turbo m8 250mi what to do?

I don't need to sell the turbo m8 right now, it will pull 12 next season. it has 272 miles. Its practically new. My buddy just sold his 2009 with 2200 miles same set up although not as nice and without the high output motor and got $8800. I'm not concerned on selling it, It will sell before next season. Shouldn't be an issue at all once the snow falls in the fall.

As for the pro you bought, you mentioned you turbo'd it. How do you like the turbo pro compared to the turbo m8? when you went from your stock pro to a turbo pro, how much more fun was it? 155 or 163? I ordered a 155

The turboed pro is way more fun than the turboed m8. The pro is a 155 and the m8 was a 153. I could play in the trees all day, with a stocker, and have fun. The 13 is the first sled that you wouldn't have to do anything to have fun.You can sidehill all day in the deepest snow but it is when you want to turn up the hill the stockers come up short .As far as the 155 goes, I don't think you are giving up anything 99% of the time and the 155 is better in the trees. 155 turbo is just fine.

Mesh hood headlight delete: 11lbs $400
Ti front arms: 8lbs. $600
Ti rear arms: 7lbs. $800
Fox shocks or ti springs: 8lbs. $2000
Ti bolts: 5lbs. $500
Foam: 2lbs. $0

Total : 41lbs. $4300
I can do a can for 5lbs but won't unless I'm sure it won't cut the power or kill my warranty( Polaris is douchey about warranties). I might have to add back 8lbs for e start with a lightweight battery. I love e start so that is worth a few pounds to me. Carbon gas tank and tunnel would chop 20lbs but not worth $3000 to me at that point. Shocks I'm doing for more than weight loss so pretty cost effective strategy.

Plans Changed:

Will be selling the M8 by the start of next season should be able to get 12-13 for it then. It is a sweet set up only 272 miles vohk built.

Then I will pick up my 2013 Pro and ride it stock for a little while to get used to it and a feel for it. If I decide I need power after riding my buddies then I'll get a turbo for it.

lastly, my girl needs a sled so I may buy my friends 12 pro for $8k has only 300 miles and purchased the same time I bought my other pro.

Seems like a good plan:)

M8 will be sold, I helped the guy above sell his 09 sno pro in March for $8800 with 2300 miles and this 11 is far better, same set up but 2000 miles less and mint! plus the high output motor.

Can't wait to ride soon!! well 8 months haha... and Wolf Creek pass next weekend

ti front end is only going to save you 4.5 pounds over the 13 and it will cost you $700 plus another $75 if you want the swaybar bracket. Not a mesh hood guy and i've done enough lightweight hoods, with no headlight, that I'm over it. carbon tank would save about 10 pounds and you could probably get half your money out of it if you sold it separate. They will be $17-1800. Hps will knock off 7 pounds and I was told they don't lose power. Save money on titanium springs and add a couple pounds back on with raptors or exits on the rear. I think a guy could live with the front shocks. I guess I would be looking at $3600 for 20 pounds and a better ride.

terry good points. Almost like we should separate the shocks from the cost of the weight loss because when you look at $3600 and only 20lbs it doesn't look like it's worth it. I know I can't feel 20lbs when riding or even when stuck. I can't feel 3 gallons of gas gone. I have an HID helmet light which is WAY better than any headlight set up. I am with you on the mesh hood. Winterbrew has one for there Pro and it fit so poorly they didn't finish installing it but 11lbs for less than $500 is too much to ignore. Wish someone did a carbon fiber headlight delete hood that sealed up well and had a vent kit already installed.

Is there really that much weight savings in the arms and shock springs?
