Snowcheck PRO cover??

Has anyone used the Pro RMK cover in conjunction with the Low windshield on an open trailer? If the cover is not tight to the windshield, it tends to flop in the wind and tear after a short time.

Coming from an Edge, I am old school and like to be able to see the tips of the skis. It also seems a low windshield is less likely to break if the sled is rolled over.

Any input is appreciated.

There is a strap across the top to tighten it up.

Hopefully they come out with a Pro cover that actually fits the Pro. I have a "PRO" cover that I ordered last year, and all it is is a Dragon cover. It works, but it is not a custom fit because it was made for the IQ chassis. $150 bucks for a droopy fitting cover. Good luck guys, hopefully they actually made a cover for your sled!

I'm not sure, but I think my dealer said this poly cover is a new special Snowcheck cover... what ever that means??

The standard canvas cover, part # 2878724, is also $189. I do not see any Poly covers in the Pure Polaris catalog.

Does anyone have a picture they can post of the Poly cover?

I suspect the reason I don't have mine yet, is because no one has one yet.

I just looked at the 2012 Snowcheck brochure. Listed as options, is as they list it "SnowCheck exclusive Polyester RMK cover". On the back of the brochure, under "sled protection" it is listed as LE polyester SnowCheck cover. I'm guessing LE stands for limted edition??

mtnclimber,

Thanks for the pic. I don't see but I am assuming there are rear straps to tie into the skid? I am assuming this is meant to be a trailering cover as well. I would want to snug it tight.

Does the material feel robust or thin and flimsy?

I see Poly's big advantages as being easier to put on and drying much faster than canvas (nice for day rides)

thanks

Yes it does have rear straps, I just took it out the box and put it on for the picture so I didn't put the straps on yet. I am however a little disappointed because I was expecting it to have the straps with the quick connects like the poly cover my buddy got with his 07 dragon, but instead it has hooks just like the canvas covers. They still work good I just like the style and concept of the other one better.
It is a thin poly shell with a felt lining, should work really good for shedding water and slush and clean off easy.

So if you didnt snowcheck a sled can you not buy this cover? I am considering the canvas but dont want it scratching the sled
