Hey snowesters, been reading and decided to post finally. I have been out of sledding for a few years now, last Sled was a 01' rmk 700. Looking at either a '13 snowcheck 800 pro 155 or a '12 carryover 800 pro 155. Just not sure if the 13 will be worth the extra $$ or maybe get the carryover and spend the extra cash on adding some Hp to it. Just looking for opinions on this. Mainly ride southern Oregon mountains or northern Calif. Off trail only, I am 180lb and 6'. Thanks guys

Ask yourself two questions. Is cash an issue? Do you have to have the latest and greatest? There is enough difference to justify a 13. If your last new sled was an 01 then you deserve a 13. Either way you will love either one.

If I was in your shoes I would snowcheck, snow pack is down and the extra warranty you get with a snowcheck is worth it. Plus the boards and belt drive make it a much easier decision

I agree, 01-12 is a big upgrade.

Looks like everyone is in agreement for the 13. Thanks for the opinions. Might have to head to the dealer this weekend and see what kind of deal I can get. Thanks guys

If I wasn't on my '11 I would be riding a '13 next season. I just got my '11 paid off and still have a year of warranty though, so hopefully I can snow check a '14 and keep the '11 as a backup :face-icon-small-coo

You are going to a Pro and that alone is huge. You can save an easy $3000 by buying a used Pro and still have 2-3 years warranty! I'm going to buy a 2013 and sell my 2011. But you are not getting $3000 in extra stuff.

The snow check warranty is worth spending a little extra cash. A blown motor is $4k to replace. IMO
