Since most of the posts/members in this section are from the western half of the US & Canada, (and most of the snowbikes for that matter) I figured I'd post up for the east coasters. A few NE members have posted here before but I know there are some lurkers out there.
A handful of snowbikes existed in the New England area before last year, but not too many. We became a Timbersled dealer last season and they were able to get me a 2016-updated LT kit in March. I rode it as much as possible (and let some other guys try it out) and we all know what happens after that. The conversion rate of guys who rode my demo kit last year speaks for itself... These things are incredible.
To make a long story short, we had an overwhelmingly successful snow check and it is safe to say there will be a much greater snowbike presence in the region this year. We have Timbersled customers from New York, Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island, and Maine, and we ride most of those states as well, in no particular order.
If there is any interest I'm willing to organize some snow bike rides and demos this winter, so for anyone who is curious, skeptical, or just wants other bikes to ride with, let us know! For those who have never seen one we have a couple bikes assembled in our showroom, and for those who already know they need one, we have 2016s ready to ship or deliver.
Can't wait for snow, and TSS!
