Snowbikes and sled trailers

Is there anything special I need for my trailer for the snowbike? I have the ramps done up with superglides for the sleds. Will this work for a snowbike - or are wheels under the ski necessary as well?

Many thanks

I have owned a snow bike for 4 years and never used wheels under the ski, for loading in a trailer or pickup bed. Yes wheels make the bike easier to maneuver around especially during off season if it stays as a designated snow bike in the shop or garage.
Ladder ratchets into the floor or side walls are my favourite. I also secure the tunnel through the sub frame as well as handle bars.
The ski can easily slide out left or right of you on ply wood or other slippery surfaces, so keep both feet planted and walk the bike up the ramp to load.
When Using my pick up only, I fabricated a bracket out of aluminum for on top of my aluminum tool box, I remove the ski, lift the front of the bike on top of my tool box and run the bolt through the bracket and spindle, then ratchet straps on handle bars and then I can close my tailgate ( short track only on an 8' truck box the tool box still opens for access to tools, Gerry cans etc.)

Timbersled dollies on the ski make the bike much easier to move, especially if you have to pull it backwards out of a trailer. And you can leave the dolly on while the bike is tied down.

Our group uses these for moving the bikes around. This is a quick video ....

They are tough as nails and come with a three year warranty. The snowbike kit includes the megawide ski dolly and a rear axle with wheels that is currently in development - photos soon. There is an improved cable protector for this season as well.

$99 + shipping.

Strap them up, instead of down. (If possible?)

We just hauled five snow bikes in my trailer today. We strap each side of the tunnel down to a d-ring in the floor with ratchet straps. On the front ski we leave our wheel dollies on the ski, for those of us that have them, and then we run a cinch stap from one fork to a d-ring in the floor on the opposite side of the fork. You have to position the ski so that if you hook your strap to the left fork, the d-ring is on the right hand side of the ski. Using this method we haven't had any move or fall over. If you have the dollies and leave them on, the ski won't move an inch and it won't wash out like the other post said.
