that looks awesome. the flex thats in the yeti carbon blades is ridiculous. the back of the yeti ski is also ridiculous... I cringe unloading it every time knowing its going to slide under my trailer ramp and get hung up. makes unloading very tough. id love to have the CMX ski and spindle....and skid for that matter too.
Damn I went through this years ago, it's a real Achilles heel on the snowbikes and has caused much grief.
There is a solution!
Somewhat invasive and DIY intensive, but it's a permanent solution.
Some forks off an old school dual sport with twin front discs (in this case, a ténéré. Sleeved to fit the OEM yokes.
Custom brackets to fit torque arms between the spindle and fork lower brake caliper casting mounts.
Rock solid and keep your fancy OEM forks nice and safe.
The fork springs on the 750 ténéré are much heavier, and work nice out of the box or with 5w30 engine oil to slow down the damping a touch.
