Snowbike specific fork.

What do you think of a complete front end that is built just for a ski? I use to ride a mountain bike with a Girven fork that was pretty decent. I want something a little more stout than my lower fork legs. Check out these pictures of a girder front end.

go for it

build yourself an " EARLES type fork ", SACHS / DKW/GREEVES some crude choppers old school SCHWINN bikes all have used this type of fork, might be the hot set up. Likely more resisitant to front end hits than telescopic forks. Roger DeCoster was kicking butt on a factory Suzuki with that type of front end called a RIBBI if I recall.

Advantage, done correctly when you brake or de accelerate the front end rises rather than squats which would be good on sno bikes. I think Les from SD might have already made a setup like that ............feedback.

Anyway just a welding project, wouldn't take any exotic machine work to test the theory.
