I'm thinking of a Beta 300 myself. Are you at all concerned about the top end on that Trainer 300 in the snow? What are you doing for the carb? I was looking at Avid's kit for carb warming and thermostat.
Also, I'm curious why you went with Moto-Trax instead of Timbersled.
I'm pumped to hear how it goes for you. I'd love to hear more about the Trainer too!

Yep an xtrainer... It has been ported to make it like the 300 rr... Fmf gnarly pipe 36 inch smartcarb... It will have an egt and a pod filter with carb heater from avid... Went with mototrax because they seem well thought out and have a lot less rolling resistance... I have a timbersled long track for the deep days.. this will be primarily for my son and wife to ride because of the smaller frame... Also deleted the injection ...gave it a lot more airflow...

Excited to hear reviews from you guys, have you both snowbiked a good bit before this year? A tool kit? Damn that's impressive, little things like that really count in my opinion. Still waiting for my snowchecked spindle to get here...
I'm new to snowbiking but have several friends in the area with snowbikes. I will be the first in the area with a Mototrax but I have got my buddy to order one as well. To me, it seems like a well thought out kit. I hope it works as good as it looks!

Tool kit is a nice addition. Are the fasteners SAE or metric?
Also curious about the gas jug. Is there a cover to keep snow out of the nozzle?

That ski looks good also. No fragile U channel runners on that one!
