Do the stock timbersled drivers fit on a 1" hex shaft? Looks like the ts shaft is a 1.06". Trying to find a easy way to get 6t 2.86 drivers to go where I have 8t 2.52 drivers.

Avid can sell you whatever drivers you need.

Just call them.

Going on a budget beater sled, looking for cheap but good option.
I run the avids on my axys and they are good

I’m pretty sure you don’t want to run drivers that don’t fit the shaft.

I built a hex broach and cut 1” hex to 1 1/8” hex for some drivers but just the aluminum was $40 not counting the lathe and milling machine..........

Can maybe smash them on the shaft and see how they work?

I pressed the basiclly 1" yamaha drivers onto Cat 1 1/8 shaft maybe a dozen times, no problem. They never press on nice and square or round, so next step is a cut across the face in the lath, ditto for all my TS kits, some drivers on TS shafts are pretty wobbly out of the box.

Haha yep.

After bending a shaft a quick cut across the face sometimes gets you through the season also.
