I've watched those videos a bunch of times, he's a really good editor and also clearly has a clear idea/vision of what the shot will look like as he is filming. I've always liked the black and white effect, I should try that in my own vids, LOL.

You can also buy filters for GoPro lenses one would help a ton on the snow for a sunny day.
