snow sucks in the Rockies

had a great time with some great people... thanks wyoming t/a and vertical edge for letting our group tag along!

oh and for getting me unstuck however many times it was!

the deepest snow i have ever ridden. man am i tired this morning. all have to say is the powell boys know how to ride and ride hard! one more thing, the xp's were definitely the king in the deep yesterday. don was kind enough to let me take it for a spin and i was impressed. snaps right up on the snow quick. a 3" taller handle bar riser and i would be all smiles all day.

There were a few trenches for sure,when you are in chest deep snow with no base sometimes sleds don't pop on the snow instantly.I think I was stuck 3 times all day,the little 154s did pretty good.

72 miles in that deep a$$ snow you guys must carry a lot of extra fuel or did you not get off of the trailes, really hard to belive but what ever its your story.

they ride their sleds like they stole them... and no not on the trails.

Had to unload just above the gate because we were there before they plowed.So that makes about what 8 to 10 miles each way of trail......... about the same as Cooke.I ran out of gas at 53 miles and dumped in my spare gas,then Dad and Kyle ran out shortly after.I was afraid I was going to run out again.We rode nonstop all day.It's my story Ryan,you can stop down see my trip meter,empty gas can and drink a Pepsi with me if you want!BTW,we were the first sleds there,every trail we hit getting to the snow had 3ft of snow too!

I'll take that deal, Just take me there and you can leave me stuck at the end of the day. I'm sure I'll die trying to get out by myself, but I will die happy. Looks like an epic ride to remember!

I want to thank t/a.. and vertical edge for showing us a great time.. in some epic snow this weekend.. Had a blast guys.. just wish my tapex would have ran better and ryan would have brought more belts.. he blew his spare up on the way out

I also want to say... this was the first time seeing the new xp's in the deep stuff... WOW.. those things really do run

sure does suck

this is basically my backyard, my 121 needs a little more track for this. we were getting a buddy of mine into the swing of things, and the shortest track was dong the passes to get him planing again
